Fans of Phineas and Ferb can rest happy as their favorite stepbrothers return for a second season. Disney Channel executives announced the news to advertisers on March 2 as kids upfront season begins in New York. Not only will the boys continue their summer vacation shenanigans, but also they finally learn Perry’s secret in a new TV movie.
The movie, Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension, has the boys crossing over into another dimension when they finally find out their pet platypus is a super, super agent. They help him fight a truly bad guy who makes Dr. Doofenshmirtz look like a cream puff (well, I guess that’s not hard to do).
Phineas and Ferb creators Dan Povenmre and Swampy Marsh have other big plans for their animated hit with a one-hour premiere episode guest starting Clay Aiken and Chaka Kahn.
Look for the second season of this kids TV show favorite this summer on the Disney Channel and Disney XD.
